ACCOMMODATION

The decor and ambience of the camp recreates the adventurous decadence of a bygone era. Beautiful artefacts, antique decor, open stone showers, canvas and stone walls, seek to enhance this beautiful blend between luxury and wilderness.

Each room is lavishly furnished with four-poster double beds, couches, writing and dressing tables, full length mirrors and arm chairs.

All rooms are now air-conditioned.

En-suite bathrooms with expansive showers and jacuzzis are a virtual treat.

Enjoy watching elephants graze, herds of gaur, boar, deer and the occasional big cat, if you’re lucky, from your tent. Most of our tents have a view of the forest and backwaters. Some are waterfront, others are slightly more tucked away and some are even elevated.

WATERFRONT

LUXURY

TENTS

The Bison’s Waterfront Luxury Tents have created a great buzz in the market over the past few years. Rated by Tatler as the 100 best in the world, we are certain you will not find architecture and interiors with a view like this anywhere else in the area.

The Tents are a combination of the East-African Camps and the old Lodges of the Raj; the perfect balance between comfort and experiencing the wild.

These waterfront Tents are closest to the Kabini Backwaters with a spectacular view of the forest, backwaters and sunset.

Each room is elegantly designed to give a distinct look and feel. The canvas tents are imported from Africa; a strong canvas draping under a thatched roof. Wooden floors, a king sized bed, elegant furniture and a beautiful walk in bathroom equipped with a rain shower and a 7×6 ft walk in tub makes this a favorite for most.

All rooms have an outdoor veranda with chairs that overlook the forest where you can often spot elephants grazing, gaur, boar, hundreds of deer I the distance. Maybe even a big cat! Borrow a pair of binoculars from our Observation Deck and enjoy the forest from the comfort of your rooms.

RUSTIC

MACHANS

Our Rustic Machan Suites are elevated above the ground with a beautiful aerial view.

Similar to the other rooms, these rooms have wooden flooring and a king sized bed with plush couches and a sit out with a unique elevated feel. The ensuite bathrooms have an earthy rustic feel. We suggest the Machan’s for those want a true blend between rustic and a touch of luxury in the wild.

Note: These are rustic and spacious rooms which comfortably fit two and can accommodate a maximum of three people.

PRIVATE

BUSH

TENTS

Our Private Bush Tents are very similar to the Waterfront Tents. The interiors and style are the same however these tents are slightly larger and are tucked away by a little thicket of trees. They are beautiful tents for those who want a little more privacy.

They do not share the same full frontal view of the lake and forest as the Waterfront Tents but they have a beautiful ambiance whilst the lake and forest are still visible.
